Read about Dr Rakus Treatments

Dr Rakus qualified as a medical practitioner at Sydney University, Australia in 1974 and is fully registered with the General Medical Council and Care Quality Commission in the UK. She is also registered with "Treatments You Can Trust"¯ and offers a wide variety of highly effective treatments in her Knightsbridge clinic to combat common complaints such as poor skin tone, lines or loose skin on the face and body.

Dubbed “The London Lip Queen” by the press, Dr Rakus is renowned for her subtle and beautiful lip treatments. Each treatment is unique to the client and is designed to enhance the shape and fullness of the lips, improving the overall look of the face for a more youthful and beautiful you.

Thermage works to smooth, tighten and contour facial or body skin using a radio frequency to stimulate the body's own collagen production. The effects gradually become apparent over a six-month period and can last for over two years with a top-up. Thermage can even be used to treat the delicate eye area to combat the effects of ageing. Dr Rakus carries out more Thermage treatments in the UK than any other practitioner.

Fraxel laser technology improves sun-damage pigmentation, and is an ideal treatment for age spots, fine lines, stretch marks removal and acne scars. Results are gradual and long-lasting.

Dubbed the "Ultrasound Facelift", Ultherapy enables practitioners to direct sound waves that lift and tighten loose skin. It also stimulates the creation of new collagen, which helps the skin maintain its youthfulness.

Pelleve is a radio frequency system to help treat wrinkles and tighten the skin on the face or body. Pelleve works by delivering constant, gradual energy to the skin's dermal tissue, causing collagen to contract and stimulating the growth of new collagen. This results in firmer, tighter skin, and improvement is instantly visible. Pelleve differs from other radio frequency treatments in that it can be used on very delicate and intricate areas of the face to great effect.

The Obagi Nu-Derm System is used in conjunction with non-invasive cosmetic treatments to improve the look and feel of skin over time with regular use. The Obagi skin care system accelerates cell turnover and penetrates deep to improve damage in layers of the skin, boosting functions of the skin at the cellular level to help it look and act younger and healthier.
