- Make-up can be applied immediately after your Cryolift treatment,
but it is advisable to avoid any skin products for 24 hours after
the Cryolift treatment. Please discuss your facial beauty treatment
regime with your practitioner to ensure that you can use your routine
products.
- You should avoid exercise for at least a few hours after each
Cryolift treatment.
- You should avoid direct sun exposure after each
Cryolift treatment. A sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher should be used
daily throughout the Cryolift treatment programme.
- You should wait one day after each Cryolift treatment
before resuming your home beauty products.
- Patients experiencing irritation after the Cryolift treatment should
not resume use of routine beauty products until the skin has normalised.
- You should not use any topical vitamin A compound during the Cryolift treatment programme.
- Immediately after the Cryolift peel procedure you may
experience temporary skin dehydration ranging from mild dryness
to slight crusting.
Some temporary discolouration, redness or swelling
of the treated area may occur.
- Some patients also experience prolonged skin sensitivity to wind
and sun after the Cryolift treatment and an increased risk of hyper
or hypo pigmentation.
- Facial hair should not be waxed for 48 hours after each Cryolift
treatment or subject to any IPL hair treatment for 1 week.
- You should not have a different facial accelerated exfoliation and/or chemical peel treatment during the Cryolift treatment programme.
- In the unlikely event of any post treatment complications after
the Cryolift treatment please contact your practitioner immediately.
