Frown lines plague both men and women and are a natural part of ageing. That doesn’t mean anyone has to like seeing them appear. Society has always been much more lenient of the aging process on men and grey hair and some wrinkles were seen as maturity and wisdom. In the 21st century though things have changed. Men are coming under scrutiny now as much as women.
Mature men are finding it harder to be confident in the job market when competing with much younger men. Men have started looking to Botox to improve their social, career and romantic prospects. Men in high profile jobs in the financial sector especially have come forward to rid themselves of those unwanted frown lines.
Male versus female
Men in general have a more laid-back and tolerant approach to wrinkles, but the most targeted area for men is the forehead and those dreaded horizontal frown lines. With women, the most targeted area is the vertical lines between the eyes and crows feet.
