Dr Terry Loong graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London in 2002 and completed her postgraduate qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons. She since trained in various surgical specialties including general surgery and plastic surgery.
Due to her passion for beauty she concentrated her efforts in cosmetic medicine providing more natural non-surgical procedures aiming to put, as she says, “the twinkle back in my client’s eyes and a confident step in their walk again”.
Dr Loong is registered with the General Medical Council and continues her professional development. She has completed training in advanced techniques in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers to reduce facial lines and enhance the lips; skin rejuvenation using radio-frequency treatments (Thermage and Pelleve); dermaroller (skin needling), sclerotherapy (spider veins on legs) and the use of lasers (Fraxel) and IPL in aesthetic skin treatments. She has a wealth of experience in cosmeceutical skin care products and can tailor skin programmes to suit individual patient needs.
She is also happy to consult anyone requiring advice on Ulthera (ultrasound treatment for skin tightening), LipoSonix (high intensity focused ultrasound for fat removal), IntraCel (radiofrequency combined with skin needling), TotalFX laser and Platelet Rich Plasma treatment (PRP or ‘Dracula treatment’ as it is sometimes known). These last five treatments are only available at the clinic in Knightsbridge, London.
One of Dr Loong’s specialities is facial contouring combining the use of dermal fillers and botulinum toxin to give a more youthful appearance and enhance overall beauty. With her gentle touch and artistic eye she strives to provide the best advice, treatment and care for her clients.
