Approximately 50% of people can walk out after treatment and go straight to work or to lunch.
Restylane®, Restylane Perlane™, Restylane Touch™, Restylane Vital™
Immediately after the treatment with Restylane, Restylane Perlane, Restylane Touch and Restylane Vital there may be slight redness, swelling, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection. If the inconvenience continues or if other reactions occur, please contact your physician.
The treated area should be massaged gently for 30 seconds morning and night for 2 to 3 days.
The initial swelling after treatment may last longer. Some patients experience swelling for about a week. This means that the result directly after the treatment should not be seen as the final result.
Avoid touching the treated area 6 hours after the treatment. After that the area can be gently washed with soap and water and light make-up can be applied.
Muscle relaxing injection treament
The following precautions are to be observed immediately following the Muscle relaxing injection injection:
- Do not shampoo the hair or have a scalp massage.
- Do not wear anything tight on the head (hats, caps, hair bands etc.).
- Do not lie on the treated area.
- When cleansing the skin do not apply pressure - use only gentle upward strokes.
- Avoid leaning forward and bobbing up and down (cleaning, which may involve a lot of bending, clothes shopping in dressing and undressing).
- Do not have a facial massage or treatment of any kind.
- Do not take any form of exercise or yoga.
- Do not take any aspirin or drugs containing aspirin.
- Do not take vitamin E or consume alcohol.
- Do not take long haul flights for 24 hours.
These precautions limit the spread of the Muscle relaxing injection from the site of injection.
