Before treatment I will always spend time discussing with you the desired effect. Sometimes you might need both treatments described below, Restylane Touch™ and Muscle relaxing injection to achieve the effect you are looking for.
Restylane Touch
Restylane Touch is intended for the correction of thin, superficial facial lines, e.g. around the eyes.
The injected crystal-clear NASHA gel gives natural volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. A treatment takes a few minutes and the results can be seen immediately.
How long will a treatment last?
Restylane Touch is long lasting but not permanent. You always have a choice to continue or change the combination of treatments - and the procedure can be repeated as often as you like.
Most patients choose to have a follow-up treatment 6 to 12 months after an initial treatment of wrinkles. A follow-up treatment is normally needed after about 6 months.
A touch-up treatment within 2-4 weeks after the initial treatment may be necessary to achieve an optimal correction.
Clinical experience indicates that follow-up treatment normally require a smaller amount of the product.

BOTOX® treament
Dr Rakus is a validator for Allergan (BOTOX®)
The BOTOX® treament usually take effect after 3-5 days; however it may take 2 weeks for maximum effect. At this point you have a review appointment by Dr Rita.
The effect lasts between 3 to 6 months (average 4 months).
Patients who have had several injections often find the
effect persists longer.
BOTOX® for wrinkle therapy is an effective treatment for crows feet. Side effects are uncommon and minimal.
