Why Sculptra™?

How Sculptra™ works
The patient should be re-evaluated no sooner than 2 weeks after each injection session to determine if additional correction is needed.
After approximately 6 weeks clear improvement can be seen.
Larger volume defects may involve further treatment.

Poly-L-lacticacid implants to correct facial lipoatrophy in 50 HIV-infected patients
Treatment session - Days O, 15, 30, 45, and 60 (if needed).
Follow-up visits-weeks 12, 24, 48, 72, and 96.
- Sculptra™ provided a near 3-fold increase from baseline in mean dermal thickness
- Increases in mean dermal thickness persisted throughout the study period
- All patients markedly improved from baseline
Sculptra™ a facial aesthetic treatment option:-
